A poetic meditation on death, how memories linger beyond the physical

“A hauntingly beautiful exploration of loss and transcendence…” — Dance Art Journal
"Breath, technical prowess and vulnerability charge the piece with a universally accessible energy. " - Stephanie Burrell

Description

A Regarder les Etoiles* is a dance piece exploring the complexity surrounding death including our different types relationships to it.
From beliefs and hypothesis to cartesian theories, the piece explores many nuances and depths around the moment where the physical body leaves the world and what happens after.
Through movements that flow between tension and release, the piece invites viewers to reflect on their own perceptions of mortality.
It delves into the mystery of what lingers when the body is gone, capturing the energy and memories that transcend the tangible.
The dancers embody both loss and transcendence, shifting between shadows and light to mirror life’s fragile impermanence.
A poetic meditation, A Regarder les Etoiles reveals the silent dialogues we hold with death, blending sorrow with reverence.
